Artist Sam Newcomb's

primary source of inspiration comes from nature and wildlife. Her paintings portray the rich colors and textures of her various subject matter. Occasionally working solely with one medium, Sam's preferred media is a combination of watercolor, gouache and color pencil. Primarily self taught, Sam obtained a degree in illustration and design which helped refine her skills. Sam's art is found in many private residences across the states. She freelanced for several companies including Current, Inc. and Walter Drake Publishing where she illustrated book covers and greeting cards.
